Radar
Use of Radar is extremely important and on vessels with operational radar its use is required by the “International Regulations for Prevention of Collisions at Sea”. It’s also a requirement of the Regulations that a Watch should be maintained at all times and by all available means. All Skippers on Freyja should therefore be knowledgeable and experienced in the use of radar. Skippers should also encourage its use by the Crew including any time when visibility is restricted and particularly during night hours.
